Proposed Expenditure 2014 - 2015

The level of Pupil Premium for 2014 - 2015 is £1,300 per pupil for pupils eligible for free school meals (FSM) and £1,900 for pupils in care or who have been adopted from care.

Total Pupil Premium income for 2014 – 2015: £230,100

In 2014 – 2015, the school will continue to use Pupil Premium Funding to:

 Support initiatives to raise achievement and to develop pupil confidence and resilience

 Support the learning needs for targeted children, whatever their starting point

 Allow targeted children to participate in social and cultural events they would otherwise miss

It is proposed to use the funding:

  • to fund additional specialist teacher & support staff
  • to support an Intensive Reading Support Programme
  • to provide Learning Mentor support
  • to make a £200 contribution towards the costs of school uniform, swimming, school meals and milk or the cost of school trips for pupils in receipt of   Pupil Premium
  • to provide Art Therapy for pupils and Family Support Workers
